May can be a wonderful time. It’s getting warmer outside, my birthday, flowers bloom, birthday cake, etc… that is until the list of shows that the networks have decided to cancel comes out. Then I dig into a carton of ice cream and cry like I’m going through a bad break up.
Among the list of shows getting the ax are Castle (seriously, one of my favorites. This one hurts), Agent Carter (which was part of the Marvel world, so I’m disappointed by this one, too), The Muppets, Under the Dome, The Awesomes from Hulu, and Unforgettables from A&E. The one, though, I think will be an ice-cream-binging cancellation for a lot of people (especially our country music-lovin’ listeners) is NASHVILLE! WHAT?? Who is in charge, because that can’t be right. We’d like to speak to the manager, puh-leeze?
Someone has made quick work of creating a petition, which has 1448 signatures at the publication of this post. Might as well try that route, since the ABC producers are clearly CRAZY!
You know what? It’s Friday the 13th. They are obviously not thinking correctly. Give it a day.
