In 2015 there were nine free days for National Parks.
But in 2016, when the National Park Service is celebrating its 100th year anniversary, you will get 16 free days. And here they are…
• January 18: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
• April 16 through 24: National Park Week
• August 25 through 28: National Park Service Birthday
• September 24: National Public Lands Day
• November 11: Veterans Day
Do you have a kid in 4th grade this year??? If so, your entire family gets free admission at all parks for a full year. It’s a special promotion called “Every Kid in a Park.” It was launched in September as part of the 100th anniversary and a nationwide campaign to get children into the outdoors.
You can read more about it all here.
Safe travels!!!
