Shark week may be over, but not for professional surfer Mick Fanning. During a professional competition in South Africa Sunday, Manning was attacked by what appeared to be a Great White shark!
“I felt something grab, get stuck in my leg rope and instantly jump away. And it just kept coming at my board,” Fanning said, once safe on the rescue boat. “I was kicking and screaming. I just saw fins. I was waiting for the teeth to come at me. I punched it in the back.”
The rest of the competition was cancelled for the rest of the day. Check out the video below!!!!
