The 2015 Heart of Illinois Fair is going strong! If you haven’t had the time to stop out yet, don’t worry, you still have through Saturday! There are always plenty of reasons to bring the family out to the fair. Like…the food! Lemonade shakeups, corndogs and funnel cakes! I mean, come on some great fair food is something we can all appreciate.
And there are plenty of family friends events taking place. Like the Axe Women Loggers of Maine Show, K9’s in Flight, Family Fun Zone and Woody’s Menagerie Barnyard Races! And the kids will love the carnival armband ride specials, where they can ride all they rides they can handle for one low price.
Plus, don’t miss out on the fun motorsports events. Tuesday there are truck and tractor pulls starting at 6:30pm, Wednesday it’s the semi-stock trucks and Super-Semi Pulls at 6:30pm, followed by the fun country band Two-Way Crossing! And be sure you look for NASH FM 97.3 that evening, too, and ask for some NASH goodies. Thursday is the River City Diesel 2015 Pickup and Truck Pulls and Friday and Saturday you can catch the Ramer Demo Derby!
