Catch Wes LIVE At Tremont Turkey Festival!

Tremont Turkey Festival!  Once again, summer starts with us at the 55th annual Tremont Turkey Festival! Wait, is this the 55th or the 56th? What happens when the COVID pandemic makes you skip a year? This year, we are celebrating “Light up the Darkness” at our 55th Annual Tremont Turkey Festival on June 11, 12, and 13, 2021. Located in Tremont’s City Park, the Turkey Festival is a family-friendly weekend full of food, fun, and entertainment. Come over and treat yourself to our legendary turkey sandwiches, homemade strawberry shortcakes, and many more delicious Turkey Festival specialties.

To celebrate putting the darkness of the pandemic behind us, we will be lighting luminarias around our park at dusk on Friday, June 11. You can purchase luminarias to honor a special occasion, a loved one who cannot make it to the festival this year, or just to help shed some light on the darkness. Luminarias will be on sale at the t-shirt booth on Merchant’s Day and at the t-shirt area in the Country Store on Friday. Price is 1 for $5 or 3 for $10.

The Miss Tremont Pageant will kick off Turkey Festival week on Sunday, June 6 @ 3:00 pm. in Tremont High School Cafetorium. Four of Tremont’s sweetest young ladies will participate and one of them will be crowned Miss Tremont 2021.

NEW TIME THIS YEAR: Merchant’s Day is on Thursday, June 10. You can visit several local vendors on Tremont’s Main St. from 4:00 pm. – 8:00 p.m. Also, on Thursday night, the carnival will be open for ‘Armband Night’. Ride from 6:00pm-10:00 pm for the cost of a $20 armband.

On Friday & Saturday, food lines will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., or until all of the turkey is gone. Come back on Sunday for food from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., or until all of the food is gone. The carnival will open at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, and 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Returning for its 12th year, the Turkey Express will be offering car hop service for turkey sandwiches, soda, water, chips, Little Gobbler meals, and strawberry shortcakes. Conveniently located at the High School parking lot, Turkey Express provides a way to enjoy the flavors of the festival on the go.

There is no admission fee to attend the festival. We also provide free entertainment, parking, and shuttle services.

PARK & RIDE SHUTTLE:

Due to the congestion around the turkey express, Park & Ride Shuttle is at the junior high school
