URGENT! Community Healthcare Calls For Help With Homemade Masks

Community Healthcare calls for help for homemade mask
The Healthcare community needs your help. UnityPoint Health, OSF HealthCare, Heartland Health, University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria and the Peoria, East Peoria Fire Departments and Pekin Police Department are joining together in securing enough Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to meet the needs of health care providers, staff, first responders and patients during COVID-19. We are working tirelessly to obtain PPE from every channel – government, the private sector, new innovative companies and generous members of the public – to get the protective equipment that supports our patients and caregivers. We need the communities help and support during this unprecedented pandemic.
Homemade Masks We’ve been overwhelmed by the community support and generous offers we’ve received to make masks, but we are still in need of thousands of homemade masks to support our healthcare staff and first responders. Click here for mask patterns for the Olsen Mask and Surgical Style Mask.
