Nanny Post Requires Dressing Up Like a Disney Princess

YouTube/ Walt Disney Studios

I don’t know how to feel about this. On one hand, who doesn’t want to be paid to act like a Disney Princess? On the other hand, it’s really hard to clean and cook in a ballgown, despite how easy the Disney Princesses make it seem. They’re animated. Come on.

HERE is the post on childcare.co.uk and the parents acknowledge it’s a strange request but they say their girls are OBSESSED with Disney Princesses, so this would be a really great way to get lessons across. They want the nanny to dress up like a different Disney Princess each month, and would provide the cost of the costumes, so that’s handy, but duties for the nanny would include “picking the girls up after school, four days a week, arranging a variety of Disney-related activities (arts and crafts, baking, singing, etc.), cooking dinner and potentially putting them to bed if [they’re] late home from work.” That’s a lot to do in a hoop skirt and a wig. I just imagine the nanny trying to sit in the car and the hoop sticking up in their line of sight…

However, this position is part time and would pay $52,500 a year (40,000 Euros) and includes 25 vacation days, holidays, and sick time… which is more than most of us Americans get at our full time jobs, so dress me up and call me Belle, I guess.
