If you’ve listened to me at ALL you know I’m a huge Cubs fan, so I was excited when David Ross, aka Grandpa Rossy was announced for Dancing with the Stars. What I DIDN’T expect was how GOOD he would be! is he the best on the show, no, but with combined judges scores and viewer votes, he’s now made it to the top four.

Last night, he and his partner, Lindsay, danced to Tim McGraw’s Humble and Kind. Lindsay said she picked it because she thought it definitely embodied the kind of man David is. Hearing that made David emotional, seeing as that was exactly the kind of person he hoped he could be as an example for his kids, and Lindsay picking up on that within two months was, no pun intended, very humbling. Their partnership is a great one, as they’ve been kind of father/daughterish, which was very evident in this waltz to Humble and Kind. The judges gave him all 9s, which stunk a little, because I honestly thought this was his best dance yet. We’ll see what Lindsay has in store for David for the Semi Finals next week!
