Gambler Loses $100,000 To Women Who Pressed His Button

About a month and a half ago, a Florida man got hosed without getting hosed. Jan Flato, who looks a skinny version of Dog the Bounty Hunter, was dropping serious coinage into a high-stakes slot machine at a casino in Fort Lauderdale.

66-year-old Jan thought it might help his luck if he had his 35-year-old female friend, Marina Navarro, push the go button. She did, and he was right. They hit on a $100,000 jackpot!

After the celebration subsided, the casino awarded the money – 50 K in cash and another 50 grand in check – to Marina, not Jan the man who dropped the money into the slot. Jan, understandably, went nuts, especially when she walked out of the casino without sharing even a dime of the$100,000!

Who knew that casinos have a rule where the person who pushes the button or yanks the lever on a slot is considered the person who’s gambling… and thus entitled to the winnings. And video of the incident was reviewed, and she indeed did push the winning button.

Sucks to be you, Jan, and a good lesson for you gamblers. Don’t ask a pretty, younger lady to push your button – until after you’ve got the winnings in your wallet.
