Jana absolutely killed it last night on Dancing with the Stars! She suffered a muscle tear during practice in the last week, and her doctor recommended that she not perform, but she did anyway. She was in pain the entire time, but it didn’t affect the very sharp tango she and Gleb Savchenko performed while Gavin Degraw sang his famous theme from One Tree Hill, I Don’t Wanna Be.
If you’ll remember, Jana came into One Tree Hill in season 7 as Alex Dupre, the spoiled, drug-addicted movie star-turned-model for Brooke’s clothing line, who spent a LOT of time trying to steal Julian’s heart from Brooke. She’s, honestly, extremely unlikable for her first season or so on the show (unlike Jana herself, who was the biggest SWEETHEART when I met her), but in true OTH fashion, her character grows, and you love Alex by the tear-inducing series finale!
Brooke’s beef with Alex didn’t show last night, though, as Sophia Bush tweeted her support to Jana!
