Can you sit and have a meal with your family without checking your phone? If you can Chick-Fil-A will give your entire family free ice cream.
It’s a new promotion at select store around the country, where everybody in your family can get a free ice cream cone…but only if none of you touch your phones for the entire meal.
You have to put your phones in a cardboard box, which they are calling “The Chicken Coop”, in the middle of the table and leave them there until you’re done with your food. The point is to give you 15 to 20 minutes where you actually talk to each other instead of texting or whatever you do on your phone. I love this idea!
I’m not sure if Peoria Chick-Fil-A’s are participating, so you may want to call ahead and check. -Jim
