You can sign up at the Peoria County Animal Protection Services for the Free Pit Bull Spay/Neuter Program. They are located at 2600 NE Perry in Peoria.
You must be a resident of Peoria County and your dog must be vaccinated for rabies and registered in your name.
Surgery dates are given out on a first come first serve basis. They are done Wednesdays and Thursdays. You must have your puppy at the shelter between 4:30pm and 5pm on your surgery date. They will stay the night and can be picked up between 8am and 8:30 the next morning.
