(Caterpillar)
They played from 1936 to 1955 and you can learn all about them at the Caterpillar Visitors Center. Their story is on display now through the end of October.
The Caterpillar Dieselettes were a group of young women who left their homes and went and played ball and then went on to work for Caterpillar. A few of the players went on to play professionally.
The Center is open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm. The cost for an adult is $7, seniors are $6, there is a military discount and kids are free.
