Looking for a cure for your cabin fever? Then head to the Elmwood All Outdoors Show this Saturday and Sunday.
Back for it's 6th year, the show will bring more than 90 vendors to the Elmwood Community Schools with hunting, fishing- and outdoors-related items. A full lineup of speakers will discuss outdoor topics and the Department of Natural Resources will be on hand to sell licenses and answer questions.
Take part in the big buck contest offering door prizes to 1 in 10 entries and plaques for the top-scoring deer. Enter your buck and have it measured Thursday or Friday (March 5-6) from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday (March 7) from 9 a.m. to noon.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Admission is just $5 and children 13 and under get in for free. Parking is also free and all proceeds benefit the athletic teams and athletes at Elmwood High School. In its first five years, the show has generated more than $125,000 for teams and for college scholarships to athletes.
There will also be a variety of animals on hand from the Wildlife Prairie Park as well as an archery range for the kids. For more information go to elmwoodalloutdoors.com.
See ya this weekend at the show!
