Don't break into that Halloween candy just yet, it could be worth some cash. Maple Shade Dental group is holding a Halloween candy buy back today.

For every pound of unopened candy you bring in, the dental office will give you 1 dollar and some prizes.

"It's not one particular holiday," said Dr. Shanahan of Maple Shade says. "It's all the holidays these days. You know, there's a 2% increase in global sugar consumption, and it can lead to obesity. It can lead to hyperactivity, so there are a lot of reasons to use moderation."

The buyback will happen today from 4pm to 6pm today at all of thier locations in Dunlap and East Peoria.
