WIth the recent snow, salt trucks and snowplows will be out all day long in central Illinois clearting away the snow and the Illinois Department of Transportation is urging you to stay out of their way!

"Anytime there is going to be a snow event, if you don't have to be out there - don't. Certainly that frees the roads for our crews to do what they need to do. If you are going to be out and about just use those safety measures we mentioned. Slow Down. Really give extra room. Increase your distance for following and for braking, as well," Brian Williamsen, IDOT.
