Sunday, NASCAR saw a new Sprint Cup Champion...Brad Keselowski.
Only Jimmy Johnson could have taken the title away from him. And with 50 laps to go, it looked like it might happen. But, Jimmy was black flagged for not getting all the lug nuts on a rear tire during his last pit stop. Then a rear suspension problem knocked him out for good, leaving the door wide open for the #2 Miller Lite car.
Owner Roger Penske was just as excited about his driver and team. He mentioned in a post race interview that the #2 Dodge never had a mechanical problem all season.
Just in case you're wondering about the outcome of the race, Jeff Gordon won. There were no issues between him and Clint Bowyer unlike last week. They will now have a few months to cool off and get ready for next season. February and Daytona is right around the corner race fans!
